Welcome to Postman Pat Videos! Who is Postman Pat?
Postman Pat is a famous British stop-motion animated children's television series first produced by Woodland Animations. It is targeted at pre-school children, and the story revolves around the adventures of Pat Clifton, a postman in the fictional village of Greendale (inspired by the real valley of Longsleddale in Cumbria).

Postman Pat episode was first screened on TV on BBC1 in 1981. The original treatment and scripts was written by John Cunliffe, and it was directed by animator Ivor Wood, who also worked on The Magic Roundabout, Paddington Bear, and The Herbs. The second version of the animated series was made and shown from 2004, which expanded on many aspects of the original series.

Postman Pat was officially sponsored by the Royal Mail for the first 19 years of the programme's life and the show was used to promote Royal Mail. Eventually this link was stopped in November of 2000, with the Royal Mail spokesman explaining that the character no longer fits in with Royal Mail's "corporate image." Upon this decision, Postman Pat was switched to being an employee of the fictional Special Delivery Service.

Postman Pat and the Greendale Rocket

The local children goes out on a school outing and they are really excited when they found Greendale’s forgotten old train. Pat and Ted try to get it moving again, but with no luck, so they call on the help of Julian’s pen pal, whose dad is an old train enthusiast. As the grand opening of the new train station is coming, will they get the Greendale Rocket running in time?

Postman Pat's Magic Christmas

In this awesome episode, Pat has lots of parcels and letters to deliver but he doesn’t know how he is going to get his rounds completed in time for the village Christmas party and make a surprise visit by dressing as Santa Claus. But secretly, help is at hand from a very mysterious and magical stranger with a big white beard and shiny black boots – who is this person?
